“However, COVID-19 threw a curveball at our recruitment plans,” admits Pranav. Undeterred, they tapped into their network, bringing on board talented former students and skilled local engineers. This resourceful approach ensured that their team remained strong despite the pandemic’s limitations.
“Supply chain disruptions added another layer of difficulty,” Pranav continues. Delays and rising costs threatened to derail the project. However, the team’s unwavering belief and unwavering support from clients, investors, and management kept them focused. “Originally, we planned for organic growth, building dozens and hundreds of BIGDISH units,” explains Pranav. However, the game-changing potential of solar thermal storage, a cost-effective alternative to chemical battery storage, has ignited a new growth trajectory.
Thus Sunrise CSP India is gearing up for quick growth to meet the demand and is in process of increasing its manufacturing capacity of their Unique concept of “Factory in the Field” (FIF) and Solar Mirror Panel Manufacturing plant from present 40 BIGDISH’s per year to 300 BIGDISH’s per year. It has also started expanding the team and acquired new office premises in Vadodara for same.
